Our Story
B. Bhagat Tarachand (BBT), a beloved vegetarian restaurant chain, started as a small stall in Karachi in 1895 and has now spread across Mumbai, offering authentic home-style food. Despite its growth, BBT has retained its commitment to quality and freshness, with dishes prepared twice daily using the same raw materials as those used at home. Known for its unique Punjabi and Sindhi cuisine, favorites include handi chaas, sumptuous dal fry, buttery soft phulkas, and the famous 'kutchi beer' (chaas in beer bottles). BBT's Zaveri Bazaar branch, a hub for traders and businessmen, remains a cherished destination for traditional, freshly-cooked meals.
